Bhu Nga Thani Resort: spacious rooms near Railay’s east pier

EDITORIAL REVIEW · 207 words · 2 min read · Editorial date 19 March 2025

Pool beneath limestone cliffs at Bhu Nga Thani Resort

Bhu Nga Thani is on Railay East, close to the floating pier. That gives arrival a different feel from walking straight onto Railay West’s sand: the east-side position is useful for boat access, while the western swimming beach is a separate walk.

Kikka n2026 liked the comfortable bed and space in a Deluxe Elegant room, alongside breakfast and the nearby pier. Exchanging towels felt less convenient. Szi lvi’s Deluxe Grand King room was also large and appeared partly renovated, but breakfast and slow laundry service were less satisfying.

Those are distinct room categories. A spacious Deluxe Grand King account does not say that every Deluxe room has the same layout or level of refurbishment. Likewise, a Pool Villa guest’s positive account concerns a different kind of accommodation.

An earlier Deluxe guest valued the quiet setting and easy arrival from the east pier. This is the practical attraction of the location: being near a landing point without needing the room to face the western beach.

Bhu Nga Thani can suit travellers who want a roomy Railay base and are happy to walk between the two sides. The recent accounts support looking closely at the booked category and service details rather than expecting beachfront swimming immediately outside every room.
