iRest Ao Nang Sea Front offers both private-room and dormitory stays at 273 Moo 2, across from Ao Nang’s beach. That combination matters: a dormitory review says little about the privacy or bathroom arrangement of a Superior or Deluxe room.
A Superior Room guest liked the nearby beach, shops and restaurants, along with bottled water, air conditioning and a refrigerator, but missed having a kettle. Mother of Leia’s Deluxe stay also valued the location while finding the service less engaging.
Noise depends partly on position. A Standard Room guest beside a generator reported disturbed sleep, while a dormitory guest heard loud music from a neighbouring bar. These are different sources of noise affecting particular stays.

Nevara A nastasiia found the Deluxe room older but fairly clean. The beach and boat departures were convenient, yet finding somewhere to leave a car was difficult, and nearby bar music could be heard late at night.
The appeal is easy access to the shore and Ao Nang’s activity. Travellers comparing a dormitory bed with a private room should keep those categories separate and weigh the central setting against the individual noise reports.
